Scott Fenn is a Fellow at the Centre for Statecraft and National Security (CSNS) and a doctoral candidate in the Department of War Studies at King’s College London. He is a Predoctoral Fellow in the inaugural cohort of the Ax:son Johnson Institute for Statecraft and Diplomacy (AJI); a partnership between CSNS, the Centre for Geopolitics at Cambridge University, Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and the Center for Statecraft and Political Communication at the Stockholm School of Economics.
His research focuses on the grand strategy of climate security in the UK’s foreign and national security communities between 1972 and 1997; asking whether a grand strategy to mitigate and prepare for climate risks emerged during that period and if so, then in what form, by who, to what extent and to what effect.
