Now entering its fifth year, the Applied History Undergraduate Fellows Programme is a highly competitive fellowship based in the Centre for Statecraft and National Security (CSNS), and supported by the Ax:son Johnson Foundation. Each year, the programme accepts 12 undergraduate students from across the schools of Social Science & Public Policy and the Arts & Humanities. Undergraduate Fellows are provided with an annual stipend and are required to attend monthly seminars, where they discuss readings in applied history and the philosophy of history. During each seminar meeting, one Fellow from the cohort presents a piece of ongoing work in which they examine a contemporary issue of domestic or international politics through a historical lens.
