Alice Hastings-Bass

Alice Hastings-Bass is a Fellow at the Centre for Statecraft and National Security (CSNS) and a doctoral candidate in the Department of War Studies at King’s College London. Her research explores how Cold War experience can inform the UK’s strategic response to contemporary state threats.

Alice holds an MA in Cyber Policy and Strategy from King’s College London and an MA in Modern History from Brasenose College, Oxford.

Alice began her career in finance, working in investment banking and private equity. She later co-founded a consumer tech start-up that connected 150 brands with customers across more than 30 countries and developed white-label platforms for several major UK media organisations.
